6 new games were created during Global Game Jam Armenia hackathon, which was held on January 20-22, for the first time in Armenia.
Noor Games, Entrepreneurship and Product Innovation Center (EPIC) of American University of Armenia (AUA) and UITE were the organizers of the event.
Noor Games informed Itel.am that 5 teams (30 participants) took part in the 48-hour hackathon.
Waves (sound, light, sea) and gravitational force were the main topics of the games.
Psychedelic Waves, Star catchers, Noizes, Reach 2 Sea, The Fault in Our Waves and Breaktrough wave were created within the frames of the hackathon. You can get acquainted with the games here.
Not only programmers, but artists, animators, scriptwriters, sound designers and many others took part in the event.
Global Game Jam Armenia is the Armenian event of Global Game Jam hackathon. 95 countries held national hackathons this year.
