The Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

The memorandum was signed by High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan and UATE CEO Sargis Karapetyan, outlining key areas of collaboration aimed at comprehensive integration of the technological potential of the Armenian Diaspora into Armenia’s tech ecosystem and powering the “DigiTec 2025” exhibition with a truly pan-Armenian tone․

The parties expressed confidence that their joint efforts will create new opportunities for technology leaders in both Armenia and the Diaspora and reaffirmed their commitment to expanding cooperation in the future.

UATE is Armenia’s tech association. For the past 25 years, it has brought together the country’s top technology companies, serving as the largest collective body within Armenia’s tech ecosystem.

Among its many initiatives, UATE leads the national “Armath” engineering education program and organizes “DigiTec,” the region’s largest tech expo and forum, which welcomes around 30,000 visitors and participants each year.
