Armenia’s largest international conference dedicated to artificial intelligence and machine learning, opened its doors at the Woods Center.

Taking place on September 12–13, this sixth consecutive edition once again brings together leading global experts, researchers, engineers, and technology professionals.

DataFest Yerevan serves as a key platform for advancing the field of AI in Armenia, fostering dialogue between local and international specialists, enabling knowledge exchange, and creating new professional connections.

“Over the years, DataFest Yerevan has expanded into a larger, more international event, now running three parallel sessions that reflect its scale and diversity. This year, we’re highlighting the most relevant trends in AI, from large language models and chatbots to BioML and its applications in biology and chemistry. What makes the festival unique is how it combines cutting-edge talks with a spirit of collaboration, bringing global experts and local talent together to help position Armenia as an emerging hub for AI and data science," says Zaven Navoyan, co-organizer of the "Datafest Yerevan" conference.

Speakers at DataFest Yerevan 2025 represent both Armenia’s growing AI ecosystem and leading international experts from countries including Canada, France, Austria, India, and Germany. Representatives from leading organizations and institutions, including Meta, Google DeepMind, Hugging Face, the London Institute for Mathematical Sciences, NVIDIA, JetBrains, Picsart, PMI Science, TUMO, and Helmholtz Munich, presented the latest research and developments in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.

“What makes DataFest Yerevan truly unique is the diversity of its speakers, a carefully curated mix of research, industry, data engineering, and software fields. This blend ensures that every specialist finds relevant insights while also learning from neighboring domains. We set rigorous standards for our talks, requiring them to be technically deep, informative, and to contain practical insights not easily found elsewhere. It’s this quality and openness that justify Yerevan’s role as a regional AI hub. Attending DataFest means gaining access to world-class expertise, building connections with top local and international talent, and leaving better equipped to tackle the challenges of tomorrow," says Arsen Yeghiazaryan, co-organizer of the "Datafest Yerevan" conference.

This year’s partners include Firebird AI, Freedom Broker, PMI Science R&D Center Armenia, SoftConstruct, WorldQuant, Envoy, JetBrains, Yandex, Woods Center, Provectus, Eleveight AI and Simply Technologies.

The conference is organized by the “DataFest Yerevan” NGO.
